Camping at Jubilee Lake

July is shaping up to be a super busy month! After our Spokane trip, we left the next day for our first camping trip of the season. Mom and Dad joined us for the first night and we took on Jubilee Lake!
A bit of hammock relaxing to get things started.
Shan's game of choice was to steal Grampa's hat.
The lake is lovely, but frequented by lazy wretches who don't pack out their trash. So, we did it for them. By the time we left, we had filled nearly 3 huge trash bags. The kids were thrilled to be trash hounds and we felt good about leaving it better than we found it.
There were several trips to the shore to swim, wade, or paddle.
The inaugural raft outing was a success. Everyone returned and no one fell out (other than the purposeful jumps!).
Dad and Mom were offered a ride in a tandem kayak...now they plan to shop for their own!

We walked the perimeter of the lake and Shan sang for part of it.
 My view
After resisting the urge to feed the begging ducks for 2 days, the kids succumbed on day 3 when the ducklings came a'calling.
