Beebe Bridge

We spent the weekend camping with friends since we're now between spring and winter sports' seasons and Bryan had no home contests.
We went to Beebe Bridge which was a pretty park, if a bit close to the highway.
We had dinners together and these three relaxed immediately.
The kids enjoyed the equipment and even came up with pseudonyms and a backstory for any who asked.
They were often found on bicycles, tearing around the paths.
They also played some badminton, Frisbee, wiffle ball, Oregon Trail, and more!
Saturday they went fishing. The first spot skunked them.
Mitch slayed them in the second!
Fish lips!
We did lots of walking, and lots of eating!
Breakfast affection at it's finest!
Shan was a trooper and mastered sleeping with earplugs.
Sunday morning, after some campfire, they went fishing again.
Bryan took them, along with the Tempel boys and Frank.
No luck for this fishergal, but she was a cute addition to the pond. Our first camping trip of the season is under our belts. Now, we have 2 weeks left until summer vacation...

Baseball

Shannon signed up for softball this season, but unfortunately there are no games, teams, or solid organization. Instead, Bryan is running "clinics" with several coaches for 30-40 girls ages 8U-12U. It's a bit chaotic, but at least the girls are getting some practice!

Mitchell is getting to play little league. He's on Coach Morford's team (one of 3 Mitches plus a Fitch...). Several friends have taken pictures for us this season. Mitchell has enjoyed playing first base, shortstop, catcher and pitcher. It's fun to watch him play!

Haylee's Birthday

We made another quick trip to Spokane to celebrate Haylee's birthday!

LaVines hosted the Cotters, elder LaVines, and Johnsons.
The kids were happy to meet the new puppy, Kiwi.
And we all enjoyed a meal together.
Maisie provided happy entertainment.
I stole her as often as possible!
Happy birthday, Haylee! We love you!

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day in Bridgeport with lots of my family.

Grandmas extraordinaire!
Grama Sally and her kids
Grama Eleanor and her girls
Shan checking out the river view
I'm very fortunate to have such good kids! We enjoyed the day together.
