Last Hurrah

We went to Ephrata for the weekend as a final trip before baseball season begins. While there, we celebrated Bryan and Kim's birthdays, as well as my Mom's. So many February birthdays . . . ah, the lovely month of May!
Here are a series of cousins. Avery and Shannon are 2 months apart (almost).
Haylee is a trying out the baby swing.
Grandma Johnson and Shannon
Grama Allstot and Shannon
Mitch and Jack loved being outside, feeding the horse, chasing the cats, and playing with Papa Johnson.

Cuteness

At 3 months, Shannon first rolled over from her back to her stomach. Now she can string together a short series of rolls.
She's getting so strong!
Mitch loves to hang on our backs right now. About half the time he chokes the air out of us, and the other half of the time is a pleasant snuggle/ride. He is so chatty right now; singing, talking, and carrying on little conversations with his toys.

XOXO

Mitch bestowed a Valentine kiss on his favorite little girl.
He then wanted to hold her. It soon became a choke hold, but she just smiled up at him and he insisted, "No, I do myself."
Here's a classic shot. This is why it's best to kiss with eyes closed . . .

Two and a Half Years!

According to an old wives' tale, at age two and a half years one reaches half their adult height. With that in mind, I measured Mitchell this morning and he came in at 37". Looks like he's headed to a height of 6'2" - at which point he'll be taller than the rest of his family!
Time will tell . . .

Three Months Young!

Hard to believe that our "grand finale" is already 3 months old! She's a sweet, even-tempered little child who gives out smiles like candy at a parade, and crinkles her eyes into beautiful half moons. She has been sleeping for 5ish hours at a stretch at night, is fascinated with her brother, pushes into a standing position whenever allowed, and makes our family feel complete.
