Today we awoke to icy streets with a couple inches of snow on top - no school!
We did lots of chores around the house, as well as played outdoors.
The kids built a snowman in the evening when things were warming up enough for the snow to pack.
They were very proud of their little guy!
We roasted hot dogs and finished the night outdoors with sled rides and squealing. Now, maybe they will sleep all night through!
What a great "bonus" day for you all. And hot dogs over an open fire on a wintry evening - a tasty memory!
