Mid-January

Mitchell's preschool had an After Christmas Program, in which he was a donkey. He spoke his line clearly into the microphone (I am the donkey, soft and grey. I carried his mother from far away) and then sang with his classmates. It was pretty cute.
Shannon was a fan of the show, and also a clown afterwards.
The two of them would not smile normally, so we captured their monkey faces. Mitch had invited Lorry, and she kindly came, much to his delight. Shannon also declared that "Mitchie is my best fwiend" on our way into the show. All in all, a good night.
We spent a weekend in Ephrata to see Allstots. Shannon got to touch her Grama during snuggles - her favorite thing on earth.
Mitch soaked up lots of dog time. He was pretty good with both Booth and Lumen, and they were also quite kind. If only having a dog wasn't so much work, I think it would be wonderful!
And here they are being super. Mitch has on no pants, as that was part of his costume. They would ask, "What is your pwobwem?" and then race off to solve it. Quite funny.

  1. The monkey faces puts me in mind of two kids on a bus ride back from a Mariners' game - doing beaver smiles.
