On Saturday we introduced Mitchell to "solid" food. It was supposed to be rice cereal, but actually was more like soup. Anyway, Mitch was all for the new addition to his meal times (hey, this kid does not refuse food in any form!). Here's the first series of food shots.

This kid loves to eat! Sadly, the solid food has not been the magic "sleep through the night" pill we had hoped. In fact, he slept less the first two nights he had it! 
I love that he already holds on to the spoon!
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute! That's funny - we just gave Evangeline rice cereal last night and the reception wasn't nearly as positive. She had the most horrible look on her face! :)
ReplyDeleteThe sleeping through the night magic is crap. It involves one of two things, a baby who just does that, or parents who fed up and brave the crying it out for a week. I do believe ya'll will eventually fall in the latter category... when you get around to it. I am glad he enjoyed the comida, AddyLouHoo also took instantly to "solid" food. He's so cute and Bitty love hims, still hollering "Mitchy" when I pull up your blog.
