Proud Parents

Bryan and I are pretty pleased with our kids' growth this year!

 Mitch and the Lego robotics team presented to the School Board at their monthly meeting. Mitch memorized his portion of the presentation.

 Then they got to explain their school model to the lead architect. It was neat to see.

 Shannon is having a great year in the classroom, earning an award from Mrs. Byam. She wrote, "Shannon is an amazing student who always does her best. She has great "voice" in her writing as well as imagination!"

Bryan got to go watch the presentation. 

Both kids earned top marks on their Q2 report cards. We are pleased with their effort and happy they are nice kids.

Neighborhood Skating Party

Ashley organized an impromptu skating party in Moses Lake and we all went over for an afternoon of fun.

She brought cocoa, of course!

 The crew included 4 Iversons, 5 Springs, 4 Johnsons, and a few friends. It was a hoot!

 These ice walkers were a major help for beginners!

 Mitch got stronger and more confident. 

Smiles all around (unless you count the feet, which felt like they were strapped in torture devices!)!

New Year

 Nina and I rang in the new year from the top of the hill.

 So much sunshine and a lovely view of the Basin!

Entering our fourth decade as amigas!

Vacation means more time with friends. The neighborhood crew is learning to use the new flag football set. A rough and rowdy crew! 

My sick snuggle boy and I are reading through the Harry Potter series together and enjoying sprinkling in movies. At last I have another muggle who loves the world at Hogwarts! 2020 might be okay if this is how it continues...
