Sweethearts

Shannon walks, tries to steal juice, eats flowers, and loves to get dirty.

Mitch loves to play with his friends, draws chalk pictures for Shannon, sings songs for his Sunday school class, and got his hair cut.

Wedded Bliss

On Sunday, many of my college friends got together to celebrate another wedding amongst us. The festivities were in Bridal Veil, Oregon, which is a lovely spot along the Columbia Gorge.

This is a special group for me. We've been friends now for 13 years, which means we have many shared memories.

Amy was a joyous bride! Pictured are Heidi, Anna, Amy, Ann, Nina and Jayme in the back. In the front are me, Sierra, her daughter Leyla, Casie and Erin. We were missing only Alisa as she was away celebrating her 10 year wedding anniversary. Cheers to good friends!

Labor Day Weekend

We spent labor day weekend in Canada, er, Pierre Lake which is located in northeastern Washington. Bryan's parents rented a lake house and the family gathered and had a fun time together.

Bryan rented a jet ski for Sunday and it was used nearly non-stop. Mitch loved it - riding 5 or 6 times with whoever would take him. Dave resembled Evil Knievel whislt driving, Vicki was a menace, and Bryan was the wildest - dumping both Rachel and me.

Shannon is fine tuning her walking skills. She's getting pretty sturdy on her two legs!

Mitch would have worn his life jacket to bed if we'd let him!

We celebrated Rachel's birthday and both the Huskies and the Ducks obliged with wins.

Dave did some fly fishing with Chad's tutelage. The water was glassy during early mornings and evenings and it was really beautiful.

10 Months Old!

Shannon's 10 months old today! She has 6 teeth (and likes to bite with them), fluffy blonde hair, sticky climbing feet, and is learning to walk! She took her first unassisted steps on Thursday, and began stringing them together Friday. She now can go for 8ish steps before tipping over. Whew! This girl has a strong will, and gets angry when her will is thwarted. Temper, temper!
