The reunion portion of the weekend ended...
so the birthday party part could begin!
Sunday afternoon we had a lunch for family to celebrate Mitch and Dave's birthday.
The greats game in droves - grandparents
and aunts and uncle. We had help preparing the foods and were definitely not on our A-game for hosting.
Still, it was an edible meal. Bryan and Dave took care of the carne asada for the tacos.
Mitchell enjoyed opening presents (of course!).
Charlie enjoyed love from Grama!
He was pretty excited about getting catcher's gear - I think he was onto us with this gift!
The other birthday boy good-naturedly bemoaned his limited attention.
Birthday pies for the win! Mitch is almost 10 and we can't believe it!
