While Mitch went to camp, Shan has been an only child.
She started her time off with more painting, this time with the Springs. Such a cute artiste!
On Monday, Shan and I went to Greenbluff to see the Hogues, Gram and the Anthony littles. The play began immediately! Most of the landscaping survived...
We walked down to see the goats and made a rock stop.
The goats weren't interested in the 2-legged kids, but Farmer Steve helped facilitate petting and dental lessons.
Shan and Nao were sweet together.
Shan and Nao were sweet together.
After lunch we headed out to pick cherries. The tractor pose proved costly as Shan did a face plant off the tire. She recovered and we headed off across the fields.
Tall grass, uneven ground, and our 93-year-young Granny right in the midst of all the adventures!
We picked 26 lbs of cherries - and ate many more! It was a fun visit with the cousins and we look forward to their return this winter!
