Sue and Steve had the grands for a week and brought them down for a day of play.
We started with lunch. Food always breaks the ice with this crew! Then it was playtime!
The waterguns were loads of fun (for those who had them!).
Then a paddling game brought giggles.
How many kids can one noodle support?!!
Root beer floats were a hit!

Ranger was very patient and Nao was in love!
Four years of summertime visits!
We enjoyed our afternoon and were grateful to the Hogues for making the drive.
July is wrapping up, temperatures are climbing, and doubts are heavy on our hearts about whether we'll get to return to school. Still, together is not a bad way to spend the summer.
