We LOVE the Warners!

The tradition continues! We headed for the mountains with the Warners to find our Christmas trees! We returned to Mount Emily in the Blues, where there was a skiff of snow and lots of cute trees.
Cute kids, too! The boys were delighted to find a fresh kill of some sort - bloodied skull and leg bones from something larger than a deer. It was one of their many adventures!
The girls were good sports, trudging about on the hillside and helping to find the perfect trees!
Kirby always maintains, "Any tree can be THE one!" but Amy and I take our time. We are pleased with our finds this year, and the guys cut and hauled them.
There was a cold wind, but it was quickly forgotten when the cheese puffs were opened...
We had a fire and roasted hot dogs with the crew.
Shan and Avery were frozen and made a blonde burrito as we finished up. We spent a fun night with the Warners and were sorry to leave this morning. So happy to have such dear friends!
