It's been 6 years since we went to the mountains to cut down our tree. That's pre-kids. This weekend we made the trek with the Warners and had a delightful time!
The weather wasn't too cold and we traipsed through the trees searching for the perfect ones.
These three boys are a riot to watch and listen to their antics.
Shannon wasn't too interested in the hunt, but knew there would be lunch afterward so she trudged on. Here she stands guard at "the one".
We set up a fire, roasted hot dogs, had cocoa and enjoyed ourselves.
Running from bears works up an appetite!
Then we decorated our tree today.
They are VERY eager helpers!
Ta-da! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
